I'm Matt, a full-time developer and fully-tenured tinkerer, and this is blog is dedicated to my technical output. I work for Tangible Worldwide in Chicago, developing my days (and nights) away.
When not developing — a rare occurance — I spend my time with my lovely wife, two meddlesome cats, Coltrane Motion, or making endless amounts of unsupervised noise and drone.
My tools of choice are: Python, Django, MySQL, Apache, Nginx, Macbook & Leopard, Textmate, Pygments (syntax highlighting), Sphinx (for fulltext), eMusic, jQuery (sorry mootools :| ), Disqus, Firebug (of course), Hacker News, Last.fm, Danelectro U2 56 (salmon and creme!), BOSS (oceans and oceans of delay), Korg MS-20, Fender Rhodes mk1, Banjo, Ableton Live, Three Floyds' Alpha King, Saison Dupont and whatever else comes up.
Friendfeed scares the hell out of me. It might as well just record every entry in my browser's history and email hourly reports to everyone I've ever met.
I also have a few things I'd like to sell you. More on that later, though.
